From variables to graphics and sound
The book begins with the microcomputer's architecture and BASIC fundamentals: variables, flow control, arrays and strings. It then covers graphics, sound, files and devices. Later chapters discuss the memory map, machine language and sorting.
Atari BASIC examples
The examples use Atari BASIC. Turbo-BASIC XL and BASIC XL have separate manuals.
