Pascal with Atari libraries
Mad Pascal has Turbo Pascal-like syntax, units and inline assembly. Libraries support text, graphics and files, among other features. The compiler runs on a modern computer; the resulting program runs on Atari. Variables are allocated statically, so large arrays occupy memory even when not currently in use.
Working with MADS
The MP compiler converts Pascal source into assembly code. MADS then builds the Atari executable.
