Drawing in an Atari format
AGS develops the earlier Atari Interlace Studio. It offers a pencil, fill, selections, lines and text. File → New Image creates an image in a selected Atari format, defining resolution and colour usage. MIC is non-interlaced. Interlaced modes construct the image from alternating frames.
Opening PC graphics
Open reads BMP, GIF and PNG. Remap Colors assigns colours during conversion. Import reads files previously exported by AGS with their palette layout intact. A working project preserves settings for further editing; export creates a file for Atari.
MCH and Graph2Font
MCH preserves per-line colour changes and enables graphics exchange between AGS and Graph2Font. G2F creates an XEX program for MCH. For other supported formats, Export As saves ASM or XEX. These functions are available in AGS 3.5.8.
